The Academy offers students the ideal opportunity to learn and develop the essential skills required to excel in the retail industry. Whether it is a career in store operations, buying and merchandising or marketing, the Academy is an unrivalled centre of excellence which will help ambitious youngsters to achieve their full potential in their chosen field.
Clothing at Tesco led a team of students from the FRA to win the Retail Futures Challenge Competition 2009, held in Barcelona. The winning team was mentored by a skilled team from Tesco’s marketing department, led by Terry Green, and three of the four students secured jobs within the company.
Having worked with the Fashion Retail Academy for 5 years, Tesco hope the first class training programme will continue to inspire and develop talent for many years to come.
