The programme for the Level 3 Diploma is aimed at a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds.
For entry to the Level 3 Diploma, you should:

To assess your suitability for the Level 3 Diploma course, the selection process will include an interview, where one or more members of the course team will see you. This will allow us to gain a good idea of your self-motivation and commitment. It will also give you an opportunity to ask questions about the course.
The Level 3 Diploma offers a unique one year intensive programme in retail with a fashion context. If you want to specialise in Fashion Retail, you'll study the basic principles through the Core Units listed. Your understanding will be further developed by experience gained in your work placements and by the Master Class programme that is unique to the Fashion Retail Academy.
To achieve the qualification you must complete all core units of Fashion Retail:
With a Level 3 Diploma you'll be well placed to apply for various positions within Fashion Retail including Junior Management Positions/ Management Training Schemes, PR Assistant, Administrative Assistants for Buying or Merchandising and Junior Visual Merchandising Assistants. Successful students may also wish to continue their studies further at the Fashion Retail Academy. Alternatively you may seek entry to Higher Education such as our Foundation Degree in Fashion Retail Management or apply elsewhere for a degree programme.
A Buying Administration Assistant needs to display brand awareness and be customer focused. A BAA’s tasks would include organising and preparing Fit Meetings and attending the sample library.
A Merchandising Admin Assistant would work closely with the Assistant Merchandiser to plan and forecast department sales and stock movement. They must display an insight into the company, the customer profile and retail trends.
VM Assistants work with the Creative Team, designing and dressing the windows or, with the In-Store VM team laying out the fixtures, merchandising the product as well as creating in-store displays. Individual wanting to pursue a career in VM should be creative, have an understanding of fashion, be able to work as part of a team and be hard working
As a Trainee Store Manager, you'll gain an overall view of how a branch operates and gain experience of every aspect of running a store. You'll learn how to organise yourself and others, and become immersed in branch and company objectives. Specifically, you will help to: look at ways to maximise sales and minimise costs; implement company sales and service initiatives; become involved in recruitment and staff retention; manage a sales team and sell direct to customers.
The role of a PR and Marketing Assistant is varied and can include general administration involved in public relations and communications, events management, reports and proposals, branding and company image and reputation.
You will assist the personal Stylist/Shopper to ensure their time is spent giving 1-1 service. You must be flexible to take on any tasks to meet customer service needs and expectations and build relationships. Work as part of wider store team.
