Who are we?

The Fashion Retail Academy, is a training provider specialising in careers in fashion retail, offering one year diploma courses and two year fast track Degree courses across a range of head office roles including Buying, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design, Digital, Merchandising and Retail Management.

How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us about courses and events, or to play one of our FRA brand games or if you register to receive one of our newsletters or prospectus.

The personal information we collect might include your name, address, telephone number, email address, IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. If you book a course online, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

  • process a prospectus enquiry that you have made;
  • process course enrolment that you have submitted;
  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us;
  • dealing with entries into a competition;
  • seek your views or comments on the services we provide;

  • send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you about our courses
  • These may include information about events, alumni relations, or applications activities, promotions of our goods and services;
  • Process a grant or job application.

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations (for example the collection of government data returns). We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long, as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us.

Who has access to your information?

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: We may pass your information to our third party service providers, agents subcontractors and other associated organisations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example to processing applications and sending you mailings). Any sensitive information (such as credit or debit card details) is encrypted and protected with the following software 128 Bit encryption on SSL. The information collected does not include bank details or any sensitive personal data. Data collected by Analytics from the Fashion Retail Academy website is for Fashion Retail Academy internal use only. REFUND POLICY

All tuition fees and deposits are non-refundable in the event that you change your mind about the course for any reason. We can, for a small administration fee of £50, transfer you to another start date of the same course. Where a student is confirmed as eligible to free tuition any deposit paid will be refunded. In the unlikely event that we cancel a course we will offer a full refund.
