We’ve saved a space just for you! Clearance 2017...

If you didn’t quite get the grades you were expecting, don’t panic – you don’t have to give up on your dream fashion career! There are plenty of ways to get on to the course you’ve had your eye on, and one of them is through a clearing course with the Fashion Retail Academy.

What is clearance?

Every year, certain courses still have space available for students to fill. The clearing process usually takes place between July until the end of August, with the aim of filling these still-available places to students who didn’t manage to get into the course they originally had their eye on.

When you apply through clearing, you can search for courses similar to your original choice. Or if you have decided that the subject you initially applied for isn’t the best choice for you anymore, clearance gives you the opportunity to browse other courses and find something more suitable.

We have put a process in place so that during clearing you can apply for one of our exclusive two-year fast track fashion degrees: BA (Hons) in Business Management for Fashion, BA (Hons) in Buying and Merchandising for Fashion, and BA (Hons) in Marketing and Communications for Fashion.

Am I eligible for clearing?

Clearing is a great option for those who didn’t quite get the grades or qualifications for their firm or insurance choice. If the college or university you applied for doesn’t lower these entry requirements, you will automatically go through UCAS clearing. However, FRA courses fall outside of UCAS.

How to apply for a degree at the FRA through clearing:

Once you’ve had a look below our fashion degrees and the benefits of studying at the FRA, all you need to do to apply is is call 0203 040 3153 with details of your qualifications to hand. One of our advisors will then explain the options available to you and complete a short form with you over the phone before making you an immediate offer.

If you’re accepted, you’ll then receive an email from Falmouth University who are the awarding body for our degrees, confirming your place.
