Meet Andreas Pasca, one of our current first-year Level 3 Visual Communication & Styling students. Hear what the course is really like, why he chose it and what his plans are for the future.

About Andreas

Andreas is a 16-year old from Eastern Europe who's passionate about high fashion and marketing. He joined the Fashion Retail Academy to develop his skills in visual communications and styling, and launch his fashion career.

He chose to do the Level 3 Visual Communications & Styling Diploma for its hands-on approach and insight into the fashion industry. Andreas was especially drawn to how garments and accessories are made, marketed and styled to boost sales and exposure.

His Favourite Part of the Course

Andreas loves how the course covers so many areas of the fashion industry. Over two years, students explore everything from styling and marketing to the creative process and photography.

No two days are the same on the course; I never find myself doing the same things over and over again! - Andreas Pasca, Level 3 Visual Communications & Styling student

His Experience So Far

Andreas recently submitted his first project!

What I most enjoyed about this project is the skills and knowledge I quickly learnt in such a short time. For example, how the creative process works, photography, creative direction and how a fashion show/shoot works and all the different things and people required to successfully organise one. - Andreas Pasca, Level 3 Visual Communications & Styling student

He's already developing a wide-range of skills, including:

  • Communication, teamwork and leadership
  • Marketing and styling techniques
  • Photography and creative direction

Andreas' Future Plans

After completing the Level 3 Visual Communications & Styling Diploma, Andreas plans to study Fashion Marketing at university. He hopes to continue his journey in one of the world's fashion capitals like New York, Milan or Paris.

His Advice for Future Students

My advice for any student starting Level 3 Visual Communications and Styling is to just be yourself and enjoy the work. With this mindset you could do anything in whichever area of fashion you want to work in. Remember to always be confident and aspirational, you’ll have so much fun at the FRA! - Andreas Pasca, Level 3 Visual Communications & Styling student
