What is Level 3 Fashion Design?
This course teaches you the fundamentals of garment creation, taking you from an original idea through to the finished product. You'll develop your skills in research, drawing, pattern cutting and garment construction, while building a strong understanding of the fashion design process.
As a student, you'll:
- Learn key skills including fashion illustration, pattern cutting and garment construction
- Receive advice and support from an Industry Mentor currently working in fashion
- Study a qualification equivalent to 3 A-Levels, worth up to 168 UCAS points

A Look Inside Our End of Year Show
Our End of Year Fashion Design Show gives students the opportunity to showcase their hard work, creativity and talent.
On the day, students arrived at Bishopsgate to prepare for the event, setting up their work and taking part in two runway rehearsals before guests arrived. Visitors then enjoyed the exhibition, catwalk and winner announcement, with designs presented in front of models and an industry panel.
Celebrating Outstanding Talent
Our Final Awards celebrated outstanding talent, with Rose Mugai, a Level 3 Fashion Design student, taking home the top prize.
Her design was inspired by her Kenyan heritage, reimagining everyday fabric into something modern, wearable and forward-thinking for the next generation.
