A Sneak Peek Inside Level 3 Fashion Business' Challenge Week

Level 3 Fashion Business Project: TikTok Style Experience at Outernet

Our second-year Level 3 Fashion Business students were challenged to create and pitch a collaboration concept for an immersive TikTok activation at Outernet London.

Working in creative studio teams, students designed a real-world experience inspired by digital culture - creating concepts that felt authentically TikTok while capturing Gen Z attention through interaction, visuals and shareable moments.

Each team developed a full “Immersive Experience Pack”, including:

  • A clear concept and narrative
  • Audience journey planning (arrival, interaction and exit)
  • Screen content and visual direction
  • Interactive elements such as QR codes and user-generated content
  • Gen Z rationale and brand alignment
  • A final pitch delivered to industry professionals

Our Winners

Wiktoria & Patrycja won the challenge with their concept: Gisou x TikTok x Outernet.

After being shortlisted, they were selected as the winning team for their fully immersive “Honey Universe”, transforming Outernet into a glowing, interactive Gisou world inspired by the brand’s Mirsalehi honey.

Visitors would step into a golden environment filled with flowing visuals, motion-reactive screens and AR elements designed to create memorable, shareable experiences.

The brief was completed over two days, during which the team developed an experiential concept centred around a TikTok-style activation at Outernet. Their idea focused on Gisou products currently trending on social media, and they delivered a confident, well-structured pitch that impressed the judging panel.

Why They Were Selected as Winners

Their concept stood out for being both creatively ambitious and commercially aware, showing a strong understanding of how brands can move from FYP to IRL.

The judges were impressed by:

  • A strong and cohesive concept across visuals, interaction and storytelling
  • Immersive and interactive features including QR-triggered TikTok filters and content creation zones
  • A clear understanding of Gen Z trends, shareability and user-generated content
  • A thoughtfully planned audience journey from arrival to exit
  • Commercial awareness through integrated retail opportunities and brand storytelling
  • A visually impactful experience designed for large-scale digital screens and social media capture
