Project Summary

For this project, students created a Trend Report based on research into a classic fashion item or icon. They explored its history, cultural significance and modern relevance before predicting its future comeback and creating a contemporary redesign.

The project included:

  • Historical and trend research
  • A digital redesign of the chosen item
  • Original photography of the item
  • A capsule collection campaign for online and in-store promotion
  • A client-style trend report combining research, visuals, and campaign concepts

The aim was to develop skills in creative direction, styling, photography, fashion writing and marketing, while creating a cohesive fashion narrative based on current and future trends.
