Overview
On London’s only in-person retail maths short course, learn the calculations, metrics and concepts involved in setting budgets, including sales, variances, mixes, margin, sales tax, open to buy and the relationship between stock and sales.
Explore essential retail maths around range planning, cost pricing, exchange rates, size ratios and more, as well as understand the metrics for reviewing performance, such as average selling price and stock cover. You will be able to make stronger trade and planning decisions that are driven by data and ensure you are accurate and consistent with calculations and metrics, such as applying VAT.

Claire Morris has years of experience in merchandise planning, working with products ranging from clothing to homewares. She has become a specialist in optimising spreadsheets and systems to support efficient, high-quality sales, profit and stock planning.
