Abbie Bonney, Graduated 2019, BA (Hons) Marketing & Communications.
"My time at the FRA has been extremely valuable to me as I have had some amazing opportunities, connected with industry professionals and gained experience with well known brands. The best part of the course and what sets FRA apart from the rest is the industry connections they can provide for you... from industry mentors, work placements and continuously sending you job or intern opportunities. Without these I wouldn't have had the skills, experience or confidence needed to be in industry. Thank you FRA!"

"The FRA has offered me opportunities to expand my knowledge of the fashion industry. It allowed me to gain advice from some of the best. Not only was I able to attend a master class from Richard Storer - the Global head of PR at Topshop; but I was then given the opportunity to apply for one of the most incredible first jobs doing an internship at Arcadia. With the help of my lecturers who had all the industry experience and exposure, alongside some determination, it just went to show that I could achieve something in which I never would have dreamed possible without the help and support of FRA. My advice for future students is to definitely grasp all the experiences the college has to offer and you always get out what you put in. Work hard, get job placements onto your CV and you can be on the road to an unimaginable career."

But above all they are all really passionate and want you to succeed. I can not recommend this course enough I just wish I'd known about it before and done it sooner!!! "

My experience across the last two years at the FRA was fantastic. Besides the huge benefit of the course being accelerated into 2 years, the industry links are invaluable. To add, being able to experience two internships, as well as being assigned an industry mentor gives you a great insight into the industry. It also gave me the chance to build a great network, which was a key factor in landing my current marketing role at Depop. Lastly, if you are want teachers that can communicate theory and visualise it through their own practical experience, as well as being empathetic and simply caring, it’s the place for you. So, If your thinking about a career in fashion, think the FRA.
