This specialised full time, one year course, delivered two days per week has been developed to increase your employability skills and instil the knowledge needed for an entry level marketing role within the Fashion Retail sector. It includes a three week industry experience as well as industry projects to get you job ready upon graduation.
The course covers a broad range of topics, focusing on the current marketing needs of the industry, such as Website and Imaging Software, Email and Content Marketing, Principles of Social Media and Metrics, Analytics and Search Engine Marketing. You will learn how to create and implement a modern marketing strategy blending both on and off-line mediums, understand your audience profile and how to develop a suitable promotional mix to reach them, and evaluate analytics to increase profitability. Additionally, you will learn about the digital marketing channels available to you and how to measure their impact on profitability.
The course combines the best of theoretical learning with practical experience and includes a three-week industry with a fashion brand to cement your knowledge and give you an insight into the real life challenges currently facing the industry.

Covering a mix of digital marketing theory with practical sessions, the course provides a balance of creative and commercial skills needed to succeed in the new digital era of fashion retail. Through this course you gain an invaluable understanding of how marketing strategies are developed and turned into plans that are implemented at different levels.
You will learn about all areas of digital marketing including social media marketing, content marketing, online display and analysis of web analytics and metrics to increase conversion.
You will gain an understanding of how to use search engine marketing to increase engagement with your audience.
You will be invited to attend a range of masterclasses from some of retails biggest names. Previous speakers have included ASOS; Chloe Miles – Fashion Blogger; Zalando; FRA Alumni Sorcha Kelly, Junior Merchandiser - Accessories at NET-A-PORTER; TK Maxx & New Look. During these sessions held in our state of the art lecture theatre, fashion retail experts advise and inform about a range of subjects affecting the industry with an interactive Q&A session at the end to enable students to have their say.
Your day could involve planning, delivering and managing your own simulated content marketing campaign. It could also involve working on a real life business project set by one of our 140 fashion brands or you may be using a range of advanced website software tools and techniques to develop multiple-page websites with multimedia and interactive features to a set brief, conducting user testing amongst your fellow students.
A three week remote/blended experience that assigns you to an Industry Manager who will brief you on specific tasks. This could be within one team or across multiple areas of the business. You will be expected to work independently with the support of your assigned manager. Working remotely and in some cases within the brand environment, you will gain an understanding of the specific role and wider fit within an organisation.
A Visiting Industry Expert will stage an intervention during a set project to give contextual direction and specific feedback on a task, aimed at offering real-time insight to support and cement your knowledge around a specific project and provide guidance to achieve a successful outcome.

Some graduates may also choose to progress on to higher level training or degrees.

Course duration: Full Time, One year, two days per week
Entry Criteria: 1 A-level (or the equivalent Level 3 qualification) and 5 GCSEs grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English. If you have any non-UK qualifications, please provide us with an ENIC Statement of Comparability, as well as, the IELTS test for English language (our entry requirement is 5.5 overall and in all sections) if you have not studied in the UK or English speaking country.
If necessary, please contact IELTS prior to booking your test to confirm how they are testing during the current pandemic of COVID-19.
Assessment: The course is 100% coursework via termly assignments that measure a student’s knowledge and understanding.
Offers: After completing our online form, your application will be processed and you will receive the outcome by post and e-mail within 5-10 working days. If we decide you would benefit from an interview, we will contact you with an invite. Your offer will be based on your predicted grades and is only secure after enrolment.

If you are 16-18 as of 31st August in the academic year of which your course starts and are a UK resident you will be eligible for full fee remission and do not have to pay any tuition fees.
