21st September 2021

The annual exhibition features a range of work produced by students across UAL Awarding Body qualifications. This year, it was held online across three platforms - the gallery, a live event and a playlist - from 22 to 29 July.

Origins Creatives celebrates the next generation by enabling them to share their ideas, their successes, and to show others how they have developed their creative practice over their time studying on a UAL Awarding Body qualification.

The showcase featured the work of over 150 students, chosen from over 600 submissions by the curator, Monica Biagioli, Senior Lecturer in Design Innovation at London College of Communication.

Congratulations to Ella, Rebecca and Isabella on your fantastic achievement!

Blurring the lines between gender norms is the future of fashion and we are thrilled to be one of the first mainstream, high-street retailers offering this style of clothing. There is no limit to fashion and all individuals should feel happy and comfortable wearing what they most desire. It is our goal with this collection to inspire and celebrate freedom, individualism, empowerment and diversity.

Through my Individual Negotiated Retail Project, I aim to explore marketing principles surrounding the topic of fashion as an art form by developing a marketing strategy for a hypothetical London-wide event that would partner designers and fashion brands with art galleries and museums for a week-long #Fashmob. Creatively promoting an event that combines a mix of well-known designers and art galleries, as well as smaller, independent brands and galleries, the project will focus on putting the arts, fashion, and culture back on the map and in the spotlight post-COVID, whilst funding struggling galleries/museums and encouraging public engagement with these areas.Isabella Pavitt - Level 4 Fashion Retail (Marketing & Business) - London City Fash Mob
Vivienne Westwood’s Climate Revolution blog ‘No Man’s Land’, runs alongside the brand to fulfil its commitment to climate revolution; I propose the circular fashion pop-up shop, at the Selfridges corner shop: ‘No Man’s Land’. The aim of the pop-up will be to raise awareness and money for the climate change movement, be providing sustainable fashion solutions and aiming to increase footfall, brand awareness and the customer market.
