You may be aware from the media that the RMT Union is planning to strike on various networks next week. Due to these strikes, timetabled lessons on the dates below will take place Remotely/Online.
If any strikes are cancelled, students will be required to attend lessons face-to-face on-site at the Academy. Please look out for MS Teams invites for your lessons on the strike dates from your Group Lead.
Attendance will be registered in the usual way and your presence in all lessons, which will run to the usual times, is expected.
Planned Remotely/Online dates:
Please note:
The ELT has made the decision to advise students that learning will take place remotely (providing the strikes go ahead) on the days in which it will be extremely difficult for both staff and students to travel to and from the FRA. If these strikes are cancelled, then learning will take place as normal face-to-face and this may be communicated at short notice.
In addition to checking updates on the TfL website, Londoners can make use of a range of travel tools to plan their journeys.
The TfL Journey Planner helps passengers plan public transport, cycling or walking routes, whilst the Nearby page provides information on local Tube, bus, river, London Overground, DLR, TfL Rail and Santander Cycles locations.
Please visit the TfL website for up-to-date travel information.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will update you if anything changes.
