Post FRA: Buyer’s Admin Assistant at River Island
As a Drama graduate Allie possessed many of the key skills required to be a successful buyer; a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Post leaving the course she was offered a buying internship at Lipsy before shortly being snapped up by River Island as a Buying Admin Assistant.

Post FRA: Merchandiser’s Admin Assistant at New Look
Prior to the course English Literature graduate Natalie worked in HR in the legal sector. During her time on the course she particularly enjoyed the Merchandising modules and decided she wanted to pursue a career in this area. Part of the course involved meeting the HR team at New Look where she was invited to interview with them for a MAA position. Nat was offered the role in fact she was the first Postgrad to land herself her ideal job. She did this so quickly in fact she hadn’t even finished her course!

Post FRA: Allocator at River Island
Moving from Uruguay to the UK Karina knew from the offset that she wanted to pursue a career in Fashion. With a background in logistics and a degree in International Business, Merchandising was a natural career choice for Karina when relocating to London. Karina’s interview at River Island for an Allocator role was on the final Friday of the course and on the Monday she got that all important job offer from them!

Philosophy graduate Charlotte was working as a Project Administrator before joining the course, having already mastered the skills of organisation, commerciality and data handling she was already demonstrating an aptitude for all things buying. Charlotte met the HR team for Signet Jewellers whilst studying on the FRA Postgrad. Shortly after completing the course she was invited to an assessment centre needless to say was offered a BAA role there!

Post FRA: Legal Adviser at Arcadia
Martine joined the Postgrad programme with over 20 years’ experience in music law, wanting to take her legal career into the retail sector. Martine decided to join the course to gain a better understanding of the industry and make those key contacts. In the final week of the course Martine was offered an interim legal role at Arcadia.

With a degree in Advertising Design and a flair for graphic design it came as no surprise that Jazz loved the PR & Marketing modules on the course. Jazz returned her old job after the course had finished just in time to interview for the new Marketing Manager vacancy there. Feeling inspired and confident from the programme’s teaching content she took the plunge and applied for the role. Jazz’s hard work paid off as she’s now the newly appointed Marketing Manager!
